Skills and Drills

Any person carrying a firearm for their protection or the protection of their loved ones should be constantly training to make themselves comfortable, competent and proficient protectors.  Skills and Drills is a mixture of basic and advanced defensive firearms use.  Building on tactics that will aid you in surviving a gunfight should you have to use your firearm in a defensive situation.  Every other Sunday of the month 3 different topics for training are covered.

Topics covered include but not limited to

• Shooting on the move

• The use of cover and concealment

• Magazine changes

• Shooting from different positions

• Shooting from inside and around a vehicle

• The use of improvised weapons for defense

• The effects of stress on your body and how to overcome it

• Working through malfunctions

• One handed shooting techniques
